I just learned that tx_cronopio passed away yesterday morning. She had been missing from LJ and Facebook for quite some time and, knowing she had been ill, I was just thinking about her the other day, worrying and wondering if the worst had happened, whether we would even know. Turns out my sweet old cat had had an acute kidney failure. Whether caused by the infection or the infection caused by her kidneys failing, they couldn't quite say. But her levels, which are supposed to be below 200, were over 1000. And with her age, and the infection and everything, it was really no use. Just got back last night from Sweden.

( It got long so a cut it is. )

My dad passed away around half past 9 last night. He went peacefully after spending the last day mostly sleeping. Just before we left him, around 6 pm, I talked to him, told him not to worry about us, we were okay and it was time for him to leave. Then I kissed him good night.
